Glass Technology is proud to announce another first, in May the introduction of the Diamond BluWave™ UV curing system will be available for all Glass Technology customers. This technology will revolutionize the way windshield repair is done and will equip Glass Technology customers with the latest in windshield repair advancements. This money saving device should be able to cure 15,000 repairs before the LED array needs replacing.
BluWave™ is for curing auto glass repairs only, it is not intended for any other industry use. The Diamond BluWave™ is a high intensity UV curing process which ensures proper cross- linking and cross-hatching, which results in a stronger cure and bond using Diamond Clear Resins. The high intensity light emitting diodes are positioned to completely surround the damage that is being repaired, producing the correct UV wavelength needed to cause resin molecule stimulation and curing.
These advancements will be fully upgradable for existing GT customers allowing for an easy transition into the next generation of windshield repair technology. However, Glass Technology will also make this new curing system available to fit some other windscreen repair systems bridges or Injector holders.
