We heard your requests for a glass polishing and glass scratch removal system that can remove deep glass scratches on all types of glass. Severe scratches in glass are considered those you can feel with your fingernail. Existing systems try to polish the glass using various glass polishing materials in a slurry or paste form. These polishing materials are extremely small particles typically 1 micron in size. This is generally only effective on very fine glass scratches, and can take a long time to achieve the desired result.
Now, using new technology called micro replication, that applies microscopic 3 dimensional structures (pyramid shaped) varying in size from 5 microns to 35 microns in size, deeper glass scratches can be removed. This size differential allows you to remove and restore the effected area much faster then trying to polish a deep scratch with a 1 micron size cerium. Instead you can use up a 35 micron glass scratch removal disc to quickly remove the damage, and restore the glass. With glass scratch removal and glass polishing discs available in 3 & 5 inch, they allow you to work very close to the edge of the glass in a controlled fashion.
The final polish is achieved on the glass using either of the three systems supplied with the kit, polish impregnated polishing discs, liquid Diamond Polish, or Diamond Fast powder mixed into a paste with water.
Our 35 micron disc is 35 times more effective than a 1 micron disc. You simply start by selecting the right grade for the severity of the scratch, then use finer grades to reach the desired result. The glass scratch removal discs are colour coded to prevent misuse.
Our specially adapted centre water fed glass polisher with finger tip control, keeps the glass cool to prevent cracking, and at the same time lubricates the cutting area, and washes away the debris to prevent surface contamination. Supplied as 110 volt system for safety, transformer not included.
